Embodied Energy: My First Solo Exhibition at The Village Table

Embodied Energy: My First Solo Exhibition at The Village Table

I’m pleased to share that my first solo exhibition, Embodied Energy, is currently being featured at the opening of The Village Table — a café lounge and social hub in the heart of East Croydon.

This exhibition brings together a small body of work created over the last four years, including No.1 and No.2 from my ongoing Energy Series, which will eventually consist of six paintings in total.

Also included in the exhibition are Always and Higher Self, two works that continue my exploration of emotional presence, spiritual reflection, and the unseen forces that shape how we move through the world.

These works explore the interior force held within the body — moments of stillness charged with spiritual and emotional intensity. Each figure exists at a threshold: between restraint and release, collapse and ascension, silence and ignition.

As part of the exhibition, I have also created a collection book titled Embodied Energy, offering a closer look at the works, themes, and visual language behind the series.

I truly had not expected to have an opportunity to have a solo show so early in the year, but I embraced the opportunity, it all happened so quickly and I had a lot of preparations to do that eventually when the opening happened I only took stock of this milestone once visitors would give feedback or ask me questions.

Some of the reactions were deeply emotional. Seeing and hearing visitors connect with the pieces in such personal ways became a powerful reminder of why I continue to paint.

From 20th May, canvas reproductions of the exhibited works will be displayed as wall art at The Village Table. Visitors will be able to scan QR codes to purchase selected reproductions online. Also available to buy in person, will be ready to frame A3 fine art studio prints with mounted.
