About the artwork
"Always" was the first large-scale work where I realised I had more in me than I had allowed myself to access. This work became a meditation on presence: the idea that the feminine force exists beyond form, beyond time, beyond body.

There is weight in stillness. There is gravity in quiet power. She inhabits the Japanese term “Shizukesa”
